CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
“Sh. Harmohan Dhawan was a great leader, who always fought for the development & welfare of the people of Chandigarh, especially the down trodden sections of the society. He was very social, humble, well behaved, cultured & a thorough gentleman. He will be remembered by the people of Chandigarh for these qualities for decades & decades to come.
He was elected to the Parliament in 1989, defeating the then Law Minister Sh. Jagan Nath Kaushal, and became a Minister in the Central Government. Though the term of that Parliament was cut down to about 2 years, yet he left his mark, both as a Minister and as an MP.
I pay my tributes to Sh. Harmohan Dhawan, the man of the masses, & pray to the Almighty God to grant peace to the departed soul & give enough courage & strength to all his near & dear ones to enable them to bear this unbearable shock.
May His Soul Rest in Peace.”
